--- title: "Client Response Gallery" --- # Client Response Gallery ## Install the component Before installation please check that the below system requirements are met. You can ask your webhoster if the server you are working on supports them. You can also find the information in the Joomla! backend under System > System information. ## General requirements - Joomla! 5.x or 6.x ## Preparations - Create a full backup of the website. You can use [Akeeba Backup](http://www.akeeba.com) to create a quick one - Upgrade to the latest version of Joomla! ## Installation (upload & install) The installation of our extensions is done with the Joomla! installer. Anyone that is already using Joomla! shouldn't have any problem, for those that are somewhat new in Joomla! we'll explain the steps required to make the installation of the extensions in your website. 1) After downloading the installation file from our website, go to your Joomla! administration and go to **System > Install > Extensions** ![install 01](https://joomill-templates.com/images/documentation/general/install-01.jpg) 2) Then select the file in the tab **Upload Package File**, after a few moments you'll get a message saying the extension is installed. ![install 02](https://joomill-templates.com/images/documentation/general/install-02.jpg) Now you're ready to start using our extension! ## Installation (Install from web) 1) Go to your Joomla! administration and go to **System > Install > Extensions**and select the**Install from Web**tab Search for **Joomill** to find my extensions  ![install from web](https://joomill-templates.com/images/documentation/general/install-from-web.png)   [Lees meer...](https://joomill-templates.com/client-response-gallery/install-the-component.md) ## Create your first gallery After you installed the Client Response Gallery component you will find the list of galleries in **Components » Client Response Gallery » Galleries** Click the New button to create your gallery | | | | --- | --- | | Title | Enter the title of the gallery. | | Alias | The Alias will be used as part of the URL. (leave empty to use the title as alias) | | Description | Enter a description for the gallery. You can show this description in the [galleries overview](https://joomill-templates.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=288:galleries-options&catid=101:client-response-gallery&Itemid=5256) and the [gallery detailpage](https://joomill-templates.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=289:gallery-options&catid=101:client-response-gallery), based on the component options. | | Status | Set publication status. Choose from Published, Unpublished, Archived, Trashed. Default: Published | | Password (Optional) | Enter the password for the gallery. Every visitor needs to enter the password before they can show the gallery. The password is stored as a cookie on the device for the period of days as [set in the component options](https://joomill-templates.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=289:gallery-options&catid=101:client-response-gallery). (default: 7 days) When this field is empty, the gallery is open for everyone. | | Import from Folder (Optional) | Optionally select a subfolder from images/clientresponsegallery/ to automatically import all photos when creating this gallery. You can use this options when the photos are already on the server, but you can also Batch Upload the photos to this gallery on a later moment. Select the Target Gallery. The images will be uploaded to the folder /images/clientresponsegallery/"galleryname". Watermark, resizing and quality will be applied and [settings are managed in the Global component Options.](https://joomill-templates.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=287:batch-upload-options&catid=101:client-response-gallery&Itemid=5256) Drag and Drop or browse to select your photos. Wait untill Status is finished. ![client response gallery batch upload](https://joomill-templates.com/images/extensions/clientresponsegallery/client-response-gallery-batch-upload.png) ## 2) Upload manually You can upload your photos through FTP or the Joomla media manager.  Add them to a subfolder of /images/clientresponsegallery/ and [select this folder when creating a new gallery](https://joomill-templates.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=283:create-your-first-gallery&catid=101:client-response-gallery) in the **Import from Folder**option. *Note: Resize, Quality and Watermark options will not be applied* ## 3) Upload 1 by 1 Go to **Components » Client Response Gallery » Photos** and click the button **NEW** on top of this page. Default value: 1920 | | JPG Quality (0-100) | Compression level for processed images. Default: 85 | | Watermark Type | Choose the type of watermark. Select None, Text or Image (logo) | | Watermark Text | *Only available when set Watermark Type to Text*Type the text you want to show as Watermark text | | Font Family | *Only available when set Watermark Type to Text*Choose the Font Family you want to use as Watermark text. Default: Arial | | Font Size (px) | *Only available when set Watermark Type to Text*Base size, scales relatively based on image dimensions. Default: 40 | | Text Color | *Only available when set Watermark Type to Text*Choose the Font Color you want to use as Watermark text. Default: #ffffff | | Watermark Image | *Only available when set Watermark Type to Image (Logo)* Choose the Image you want to use as Watermark | | Position | Choose the position where you want to show the Watermark text or Watermark Image on the photo. You van choose from: Top Left, Top Center, Top Right, CenterLeft, Center Middle, Center Right, Bottom Left, Bottom Center or Bottom Right. Default: Bottom Right. | | Opacity (%) | Set the Opacity of the Watermark Text or Watermark Image. 0 is invisible, 100 is fully opaque.
